Warehouse Coordinator
Role Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, inspecting cargo, managing inventory records, and liaising with customers, hauliers, overseas partners, and internal departments. The role requires a strong team player who can work closely with colleagues across Operations, Sales, Customs, and Finance to ensure the smooth handling and delivery of cargo.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming and outgoing cargo for quantity and condition.
- Take photographs and measurements of cargo during unloading operations.
- Monitor inventory and maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Coordinate deliveries and collections with hauliers and customers.
- Liaise with overseas partners regarding cargo discrepancies, shortages, damages, or operational issues.
- Communicate regularly with Sales, Operations, Customs, and Finance teams.
- Ensure all cargo movements are correctly documented.
- Respond to customer enquiries relating to storage, deliveries, and cargo status.
- Support claims investigations by gathering photographs, measurements, and supporting documentation.
Key Skills
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or warehousing.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with various stakeholders.

- Ensure timely coordination of deliveries and collections.
- Resolve cargo discrepancies quickly and effectively.
- Deliver a high level of customer service.
- Support efficient warehouse and logistics operations

- Shipping knowledge and prior experience could be an asset
