We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented individual to join our dynamic logistics division as a Sea Freight Customer Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. This role is central to ensuring the smooth coordination of sea freight shipments by liaising with global partners and supporting clients throughout the logistics process.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handling a high volume of customer and partner emails in a timely, professional, and organized manner.
Booking sea freight shipments with our foreign principals, agents, and carriers.
Liaising with overseas partners to track the progress of existing shipments and ensure timelines are respected.
Keeping clients updated on shipment milestones, including ETDs, ETAs, and any relevant changes.
Coordinating closely with Sales representatives to align on customer requirements and service expectations.
Supporting the smooth flow of day‑to‑day sea freight operations while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

- Strong ability to manage high email volumes efficiently and accurately

- Resilient, proactive, and able to handle occasional rejection confidently
- Highly self‑motivated and ambitious
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Motivated to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Outgoing, assertive, and professional
- Strong proficiency in Maltese and English; an additional language is considered an asset
- Solid IT proficiency
- Previous sales experience or logistics/maritime industry experience (considered an advantage but not mandatory)
