We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sea Freight Executive to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for ensuring seamless shipment operations by coordinating with international partners, providing accurate cost estimates, and keeping clients updated on their orders.
Sea Freight Responsibilities:
- Efficiently performing accurate and swift cost calculations, while delivering precise quotations to customers.
- Coordinating and booking shipments with our foreign principals to ensure smooth logistics.
- Regularly communicating with foreign partners to monitor the progress of current orders and maintain timelines.
- Keeping clients informed on shipment statuses, including estimated arrival times and any updates.
- Collaborating closely with Sales representatives to ensure alignment on customer needs and shipment requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Driving Licence (Level C)
- Ability and desire to sell
- Customer Driven
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive, confident and determined approach
- Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
- A high degree of self-motivation and ambition
- To work both independently and as part of a team
- Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
- Outgoing and assertive
- Possess good communication skills in both written and spoken Maltese and English and possibly another language,
- Proficiency in IT
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Optional: Previous sales experience and previous experience in the industry
